General Membership Meetings -- 7:00 pm Held the second Tuesday of every other month at the Hampton Baptist Church at 40 Kings Way in downtown Hampton (please enter on the Wine Street side). All meetings are open to the public and visitors are encouraged to attend. May 13, 2008 (Annual Association Meeting) July 8, 2008 September 11, 2008 Beautification Committee Meetings We no longer have regularly scheduled Beautification Committee meetings. Future meetings will be scheduled as required. These meetings are normally held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Neighborhood Association small conference room on the 5th floor of City Hall in downtown Hampton at 7:00 pm. Board of Directors Meetings Board of Directors meetings are scheduled as required. Officer's Committee Meetings Officer's Committee meetings are scheduled as required. Spring & Fall Cookouts Our neighborhood cookouts are normally held on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 to 7:00. Bring your own chair and a favorite dish. We'll provide the hotdogs, burgers, drinks, and other necessities. September, 2007 The Fall Cookout will be held again at Warren Coleman's house, 808 Marshall Street. Spring, 2008 The Spring Cookout will be held again at Frank and Natalie's house, 403 East Pembroke Avenue. Annual Yard Sale Held mid-May each year to celebrate Hampton's Neighborhood Month. Best Dressed House Competition Held mid-December throughout the neighborhood. Salon Concert Series February 9, 2007 Held Summer and Winter at Tom and Wanda's house, 334 East Pembroke Avenue. Tom is already working on the program for our February 2007 concert so you won't want to miss this one. Five Alarm Chili Cookoff UPDATE: The Pasture Point Posse took home second place in the People's Choice category behind Pam's "This Ain't Yo' Mama's Chili" and donated the $150 in prize money to the Hampton Fire Department. For pictures of this fun event, please go to the Photo Album page. This year, Pasture Point is going to enter it's best chili in this City fund raising event for the pediatric burn unit of CHKD. The Chili Cookoff will be held at Mill Point Park. Come join us in this worthy cause, eat chili till you can't stand it, and vote for Pasture Point to win the "Soon-to-Be-Coveted Golden Pot."
